About
I am a fine artist, writer, and sculptor from Jersey in the Channel Islands. My practice combines installation, sculpture, and writing to intertwine personal narrative, political realities, and myth-making through the lens of island identity.
Working with found objects, I reclaim the aesthetics of decoration and frivolity as sites of resistance, challenging the conservatism, snobbery and hierarchies that dismiss the decorative as politically insignificant. Across each body of work, I explore immigration as a means of aerating the soil, a metaphor for renewal, exchange, and belonging.
Storytelling is central to my practice, transforming spaces marked by grief, extraction, and neo-capitalist greed into moments of collective reflection and possibility. My installations often exist as temporary encounters that resist complete documentation, rejecting the idea that art can be fully experienced through images alone and instead insisting on presence, participation, and shared experience.
